Hello People.
In less than a week, The 2009 Tony Awards will be occurring and hopefully I’ll be watching. So pumped….!
Anyway, This past week or so has been very busy. PSF has been really kicking into high gear. Cinderella (the children’s show) has opened, 1776 is in full swing with rehearsals, and the green show is in dress runs and opens this coming Wednesday. Also, we had the annual Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival Gala this past weekend. Today’s Vlog highlights certain parts of the evening.
Amongst all that fun, I found time to go to the beach! OCNJ was somewhat quiet, but it was still so much fun. The weather was nice and I got some sun, and sun burn….bitter. Here’s a picture of some friendship.
On a more “awww” kind of note, I’m homesick. I really am enjoying working here at PSF and I’ve been learning and really having fun in the different processes and such, but I just miss home. It’s weird, because I consider myself to be so independent and self sufficient, but when it comes down to it, I’m like anyone else, and sometimes, one misses familiarity. It’s amazing how you can missing singing obnoxiously in your own shower. But as Dory says, “just keep swimming.” I will, I will.
oooh. I want to that new Pixar Movie “Up”. It looks so cute, plus I just love Pixar in general. Oh! and new Harry Potter this summer!!!! So much goodness…
Bring this Blog to full circle, Tony Awards….there are many shows I still want to see this season. I want to see Next to Normal, 9 to 5 (love that movie and Stephanie J. Block), Mary Stuart, and I want to see Hair (Everyday of my life.) I just got the new HAIR recording and it is absolutely wonderful! Next Vlog shall be dedicated to it.
Alright, well I’ve got to go get ready for the rest of my day. beware. shameless plug ahead….
If you want to enjoy some professional theatre, come to the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival. I, Peter Lam, wil specifically be in Cinderella, The Green Show, 1776, and Antony and Cleopatra.
