Hello People.

In less than a week, The 2009 Tony Awards will be occurring and hopefully I’ll be watching. So pumped….!

Anyway, This past week or so has been very busy. PSF has been really kicking into high gear. Cinderella (the children’s show) has opened, 1776 is in full swing with rehearsals, and the green show is in dress runs and opens this coming Wednesday. Also, we had the annual Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival Gala this past weekend. Today’s Vlog highlights certain parts of the evening.

Amongst all that fun, I found time to go to the beach! OCNJ was somewhat quiet, but it was still so much fun. The weather was nice and I got some sun, and sun burn….bitter. Here’s a picture of some friendship.

On a more “awww” kind of note, I’m homesick. I really am enjoying working here at PSF and I’ve been learning and really having fun in the different processes and such, but I just miss home. It’s weird, because I consider myself to be so independent and self sufficient, but when it comes down to it, I’m like anyone else, and sometimes, one misses familiarity. It’s amazing how you can missing singing obnoxiously in your own shower. But as Dory says, “just keep swimming.” I will, I will.

oooh. I want to that new Pixar Movie “Up”. It looks so cute, plus I just love Pixar in general. Oh! and new Harry Potter this summer!!!! So much goodness…

Bring this Blog to full circle, Tony Awards….there are many shows I still want to see this season. I want to see Next to Normal, 9 to 5 (love that movie and Stephanie J. Block), Mary Stuart, and I want to see Hair (Everyday of my life.) I just got the new HAIR recording and it is absolutely wonderful! Next Vlog shall be dedicated to it.

Alright, well I’ve got to go get ready for the rest of my day. beware. shameless plug ahead….
If you want to enjoy some professional theatre, come to the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival. I, Peter Lam, wil specifically be in Cinderella, The Green Show, 1776, and Antony and Cleopatra. But obviously, come see the whole shebang, which also includes The Complete Works of William Shakespeare…Abridged and A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Just a Vlog.

Hello People.

No time to actually write, so just a Vlog.

EPIC!

Hello People,

This has been the epic week of life. I had finals exams, papers, recitals, and just a whole bunch of stuff to get done. It was a long haul, but  I got through it without a scratch (except for the ones I get when I sleep. Apparently, I scratch myself in my sleep?).

I am now home for a few days, and its has been going by so quickly. It’s scary, but I feel like everyone is growing up so quickly,  and I don’t think I’m ready. I’m a senior in College now. THAT IS CRAZY! When did this train become get on the express schedule?!

This summer, I’ll be a part of the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival, and as excited as I am for the opportunity and the experience, I’m sad that this weekend will be the only time I really see my friends from home. It’s not even that I’m the only one not going to be around. All my friends are just doing their own thing this summer. Some are going abroad, some are working, some are house hunting. We’re all just growing up. I guess it’s the next step in all of our lives.

Anyways, moving on to some exciting news…Tony Award Nominations came out this past week and of ocurse I vlogged about it. It is a special Vlog today:

Comeback Tour? Eh.

Hello People,

So, it may seem as if I’ve neglected this blog, and by seem I actually mean I for got about it and got really busy, but I’m back! This hiatus has been just crazy. I’ve been rehearsing, acting, directing, writing papers (ish), and just being all over the place.

Today was the last day of classes, and I can’t even tell you how glad I am to be done with this semester. It has been just…seniorititis, and I’m not even a senior. So, all I have to do is get through my finals and then go home for 3 days and come back for the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival. It is going to be a fun summer.

Okay, for today I have two VLOGS. One is just a welcome back and the one after is the lost IN THE HEIGHTS vlog.

&

Hopefully, ya’ll enjoyed that. I’ll be back in a few days with some me singing and we’ll see how that goes.

Peace be,
Peter

Hello People.

So it has been a while, but I’m back and I have great news! This saturday, tomorrow, I’m seeing the second preview of HAIR on Broadway! I am so Pumped. Of course, what NYC trip is complete without a blog? The lovely Lisa Schmidt will be with me. (she bought me my ticket for my birthday!)

I have a video Blog for you guys today. I filmed it a few days ago, but it is still relevant.

—————————————-

Tonight, I’m seeing “Crazy For You” at my former High School. I’m expecting great things, simply because i’ve heard great things

and

daily FML:

Today, my cellphone ring went off loudly at a co-worker’s funeral. My ringtone is “Another One Bites the Dust.” FML

—————————————–

As mentioned before, My birthday is coming up! March 9th marks my 21st birthday… I will be sober. Responsibility? Nope. Rehearsals and classes are going to hinder my birthday plans, but I’m okay with it, simply because as long as i get to spend it with some good friends at some point, I’m happy.

alright Peace out for now. Big and Better Blog coming after NYC and HAIR!

Peter

PS: the song on my Vlog today is OkGo’s “Here it goes again” it was a free download on www.bananarepublic.com

Make’em Laugh!

Hello People.

It is opening night for DeSales’s DEATH OF A SALESMAN. It is amazing how quickly time has passed. I feel like the semester just started and yet, we’re almost done for the year! AH!

————

Anyways, enough of my rant. So today’s blog is entitled “Make’em Laugh” because of this great new site: WWW.FMYLIFE.COM

It is absolutely hilarious! At work, my fellow co-workers and I spent a good half hour cracking up. It is filled with unfortunate trials and tribulations that real people have lived.

for example:

” Today, my grandmother called. She greeted me by my mother’s name. When I told her it was not my mother, she apologized and corrected herself, but this time she addressed me as my sister. When I told her it was not my sister either, she said ‘Sorry, wrong number’ and hung up. FML”

My Funny Valentine’s Day

Hello People.

It has been a while since my last post. A) I was a bit busy with school work and such and B) I got a cold! bah!

Anyways…

It is that time of year again peeps. Red hearts, chocolate, chick flicks, and still single. Bitter? not really.

I’m not that person that’s like “gah! I’m single. Shoot me.” If I was, I’d be a pretty depressing person. For those of you who are on the single boat, don’t fret. Do as Beyonce says “put your hands up!” Share this day with friends and family, the people that love you all year round.

For those that do have significant others, live it up!

Happy Valentine’s Day!

Okay, here’s today’s Vlog:

Peace out,
Peter

Mister Snow.

Hello People.

Here in Center  Valley, PA, snow is definitely the word right now. The weather is kind of ridiculous…Bitter? Yes.

——–

So my workload this semester is somewhat getting the best of me. I’m not falling behind, but it takes all I can to just keep up and do everything. You’re probably thinking, “stop blogging,” well that crossed my mind, but I need some time for just me too, or I’ll go crazy. Last week , I got a snow day. Sadly, its time for another one….and *snow dance*

——–

Today’s Vlog is me talking about the SuperBowl (yes i watched it) and some talk about Gavin Creel and Stephanie J. Block.

Oh, Here’s the video of Stephanie J. Block, as said above

Well Peace Out,
Peter

No Fancy Title Today.

Hello People.

Okay, final installment of Elaine Stritch Videos. Part 5 and Part 6 (w/ Ladies Who Lunch!!!)

——————————————

Wasn’t that fun!

Alright back to normal.

So much has happened since the last time I actually blogged about myself.

School is just rolling on by at the pace of molasses but all too fast at the same time. It is crazy how, while you’re trying to get through each week, and living weekend to weekend, time goes by so quickly. I’m a junior. I’m gonna stop writing about or I might shed some tears…yep.

DEATH OF A SALESMAN is going well. I’m enjoying the process for the most part and I think I’m learning a thing or two. I realized something the other day. I’m not white…(that wasn’t what I realized) If I ever had to go for the character Charley, the show would become straight up farcical. What the hell is an Asian Man doing in Brooklyn in the 1940’s?! Ah well. Suspension of disbelief?

I’m an Understudy in “Sunday in the Park with George.” I’ll jump that hurdle when we get there, but i figured I’d put it out there though.

AUDITION MANIA is essentially over. Thank You. It was getting to be a bit too much stress. But it definitely paid off. This summer I’ll be an acting intern @ The Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival. woot! I’m very excited to get the opportunity. Excuse the phrase, I almost Pissed myself. How unladylike…sorry

Okay….This may be a bit TMI, but apparent;y when i get excited or overjoyed about something, I lose control of my bodily functions. In response to many things lately, I’ve said “OMG I’m gonna piss my pants!” or ” Elaine Stritch’s cup of OJ, OMG, I’d void all bowels….” What?! yeah, I need to stop these false rumors of my bladder.

Anyway onto today’s VLOG:

Well that’s all people.
Peace Out,
Peter
