Hey People!
So I have totally neglected this blog for forever and a day. I am glad to say I am back, and will be back every few days fo’ Def! (mmmm for sure?)
When last I left you, TMM had just closed, final exams were over, and a summer of fun was to begin. Well, all is good and better then ever! I taught at DeSales as a Music Teacher, and I certainly enjoyed the experience. As much as I feel the students learned from us, I learned from them the qualities I have that make me a good teacher. Patience was not one of them, but somehow my mix of impatience, sassy criticism, and positive reinforcement worked to make an awesome result! Teaching is still something I have an interest in, and I will definitely keep it in mind for the future.
I have joined a gym and I am working towards a goal. I’m getting closer and closer each day, and it really is all about a lifestyle change. I can’t say I haven’t cheated on my lifestyle change, but it all works out in the end.
I have seen two shows in NYC this summer.
Sunday in the Park with George was simply amazing. I must say it was one of the most amazing pieces of theatre I have ever had the pleasure to watch. I was floored by the actors and definitely the visual aspect. Beautiful.
I have also seen [Title of Show] and I have fallen in love with this show. I had the soundtrack for like months, but didn’t listen to it until one of my friends went to see it, told me about it, and that reminded me that i had the cd. I absolutely adore the premise of the show, and the heart behind the work. I could tell that the actors really believed their work, and lived the message they wanted to portray to the audience. It also helped that the show was Hilarious!!!!!

Currently, I am in a show at Upper Darby Summer Stage. I am in My Favorite Year. The process has passed by very quickly. Opening is this friday! WHAT?!?! I still feel like the auditions were yesterday. Anyway, I am part of the ensemble, and I am having a great time. Summer Stage is always great simply because I get to reconnect with old friends and make new friends along the way.
Obviously, you must come see the show. We have four performances, come to all of them! If not, come to at least one! The performance dates are August 1,2,8,9 @ 7:30 pm @ Upper Darby Performing Arts Center (WWW.UDPAC.ORG)
On top of Mainstage, I am also Directing A scene for Summer stage’s Director’s workshop (AKA One Acts). I am directing my own adaptation of The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. Come see it! It is going to be beautiful. The dates for that are on the website at WWW.UDPAC.ORG.
I am also in Summer Stage’s DanceTroupe/Cabaret. There is one performance, and it is jam packed full of Great singing and dancing! August 13th.
and so ends the shameless plugs

It is absolutely ridiculous that August is in a few days! Summer has flown by, and I feel like I haven’t done a thing (even though I have done ALOT). Now I have to start preparing for college again, which includes prepping for auditions, reading for some classes, dorm shopping (two beds or a king size bed?). I am overwhelmed.
OH! I am typing from that MAC that I so longed for….I love it! and I have the iPhone 3g!!!!

Well, I guess I should get to bed now. I am exhausted from a great dress rehearsal of MFY.
Check the Obsessions Page! I have updated it!
Goodbye (why are goodbyes good? unless you really hate the person your parting with? ponder that!)
