Hi Memoirs,
SO… I’m making no promises of me coming back on a regular basis, but I find that there are some days that I just prefer to write rather than making a video.
I will try to spread myself evenly amongst the many media mediums I am involved with (WordPress.com, FaceBook, Twitter, youTube). It is a lot to handle but I think I can, I think I can, I think I can…..
Well… Now we get to why I actually wanted to come back here onto good ole WordPress.com. I am now a resident of NYC and It seems I am getting back into a lot of things I used to do in High school and the beginning of college. I had time back then, and now, Once again, I am privileged to have some time here and there.
I used to be really into Haikus. If you don’t know what that is, It is a form of poetry (Japanese).
To be Clear here’s some wikipedia action for you — haiku, is a form of Japanese poetry, consisting of 17 moras (or on), in three phrases of 5, 7, and 5 moras respectively.
So… I’ve been riding the train a lot! And I encounter these people and think about who they are in that exact moment. There is so much to take in about a person, and the train is just a great place for this to happen, wel NYC in general is a great for this to happen. Everyday I see people of all walks of life, and I just want to write down what I see or sense. SO … I’m going to do just that, in the form of Haiku, on this Blog! Hopefully Ya’ll with appreciate… don’t hate.
Obviously… I’ll write other things on here, but I’m going to let that be a big thing on the written blog, Just because it is something I’ve been wanting to do and I think It is time I shared it. Clearly, I’m no great writer, but I hope you find my mini Haiku Portraits amusing and thought provoking.
Peace Out
PS My first Haiku will be on the next entry….
